Stopping outside her son’s apartment door Karen stands glancing at all the newspapers lining the front door. She still cannot believe that he just up and quit the company, a few weeks later and she is still trying to process it. Raising her hand to the doorbell she rings it again for the fourth time, debating about taking the hide away key and just going in. Instead she is greeted by her half awake son as he throws the door open.
“Mom.” Jake says, wiping the sleep out of his eyes.
Karen looks at him for a moment, before moving into the house as he opens up the door to let her in. The place is a mess, take out boxes lining the coffee table, empty liquor bottles lining the kitchen counter. She eyes the apartment critically, wondering if this is really where her son is going to end up years later.
“Really Jacob?” she finally says, turning around to look at her son.
Jake has managed to throw on a shirt since arriving at the front door to see his mother on the other side. Running hand through his unkept hair as his mother skeptically looks over the mess that is now his apartment after quitting. Instead of dealing with Jessica over the last few weeks, he has instead locked himself in the apartment eating take out and drinking. It is better than in his mind dealing with the ramifications of Jessica’s condition, losing Vanessa and fatherhood.
“I didn’t know that you were coming by.” he answers.
“I called,” Karen says, hoping that he will tell her what is going on, ‘You haven’t been answering.”
Not knowing what else to say to his mother he looks at the ground for a moment, glancing back up to look at her and speak.
“I haven’t felt like answering.”
“Well that has been apparent. What has gotten into you? First you quit the company and now you are back to what? Throwing your life away?” Karen asks.
“It’s complicated mom.” he begins.
Karen waits for him to finish his sentence, hands on her hips before reaching underneath the sink for a much needed trash bag. She has seen him like this years ago when Hannah died, but with the truth out now he should he happy. Instead he is in her mind throwing his life away again, when he doesn’t finish she finally speaks again.
“This isn’t like you Jake, you worked too hard to move up in the company to just quit. Besides I thought with the truth out that you were going to work things out with Vanessa?”
Jake doesn’t even know what to say coming up with the first thing that comes to mind, “It’s too late to work things out mom, it’s over. I quit because dad is a jackass, I’ve put out the feelers no one is wanting to hire me.”
“Don’t be absurd, you and Vanessa care about each other...,” Karen attempts only to be cut off.
“Jessica is pregnant.”
Her son’s statement makes her freeze in the middle of picking up some of the cardboard boxes and placing them in the trash bag. It is the last thing that she wants to hear, the last thing that she ever expected to hear and just like years ago when Jessica came over with Richard to break the news to her and Alan, it sickens her. This was not how her son’s life was supposed to turn out not back in his sophomore year in college and most certainly not now.
“Are you even sure it is yours? What were you thinking?” Karen asks, anger quickly overtaking her.
“I certainly didn’t ask for this. It is what it is.” Jake says, defending his actions.
Karen takes a moment to compose herself walking to her son to touch his face with her hand, “Be careful Jake, she’s trouble. Please pick up this mess, I’ll talk to your father about letting you back at the company. I’ll fix it.”
Camryn's heels clicked on the marble of the lobby of the West Lake Regency Hotel. It looked lush and lavish. She couldn't believe it. The little girl from Chicago Illinois was now married to one of the richest men in America. Being Ms. Mulroney had it's perk. All of the sudden she was thrown into the business world. Lace Mulroney had given her the best advice. Use the money that was at her disposal. So here she was. Expanding the Mulroney brand, with a new Skylight Hotel.
Since Maxwell told her West Lake was one of the newest vacations spots. She knew that where she wanted her hotel. This was her purchase and now she was meeting Cade Harvell. One of the best real estate investors on the East Coast. The cold air from the outside sent shivers down her spine as she walked into the bar. Throwing her mink shawl over the bar she smiled.
"Hello can you get me a strawberry Long Island Ice tea. Also a bourbon on the rocks straight."
Running a hand across her shimmering dress she looked around for Cade. She didn't know what he looked like but she was ready for him to come.
"Would you let me know when Mr. Harvell arrives." she slid a fifty to the bartender and winked at him.
Flipping her hair with both hands her long hair flew. She felt like all eyes were on her. Or maybe it was the fact she was new money. Either way Camryn was ready to get this meeting started.
Cade had gotten out of a meeting with the Tokyo office with Liz, before calling it a day he had a private meeting later that evening but had agreed to met his sister for a drink before hand. The client was from out of town hailing from Aztec Springs, NV and from the paperwork they had traded over a fax machine they were looking to buy in order to create a new hotel to gain and pick up tourism. Things were changing around West Lake they had been ever since the cover-up had come to light a few months prior, the town had been given a ton of press and coverage. Some were opposed to change, he however welcomed it gave him something to look forward to after his relationship with Kate had ended a few weeks ago, something he was trying to convince himself was in everyone's best interests.
"Sorry I'm late, the call went a bit longer than I expected." Cade said, leaning down and kissing his sister's cheek.
Vanessa looked up from the tablecloth and her bottle of water, "It's fine. I heard about you and Kate."
"I'm sure you did." Cade says, taking a seat across from her his tone harsh.
Vanessa looks at him for a moment before leaning back in her chair, he's a mess everyone knows it and she still isn't even sure why he and Kate decided to call it quits.
"Besides I thought that you weren't talking to dear Kate. I thought your mind would be more preoccupied with the news of the bundle of joy to Jess and Jake." Cade says, checking his watch.
"I heard it from Liz , if you must know. I just thought you would want someone to talk to about it. You've been there for me over the last few weeks, with everything. Pardon me for wondering." Vanessa retorts.
Cade is certain that he is not wanting a lecture from his sister as he looks up and towards the bar, spotting a woman there with the bartender before glancing back at his sister.
"If I need you, I will call you. You know that, I think my meeting is eyeing me from the bar. What do you think?" Cade asks, leaning forward hoping to not fight with his twin before his meeting.
Turing around in her seat slightly, she eyed the woman up and down before turning back to her brother, "You could do better."
Cade is curious as to her implication and tempts to ask for an explanation but is stopped when the bartender comes over to their table.
"Mr. Harvell, there is a guest at the bar wishing to see you." he says, waiting for his instructions.
"Go ahead and send her on over." Cade says to the waiter, who nods before leaving the table and he offers his sister a warning. 'Play nice would you?"
"Ms. Mulroney, Mr. Harvell is at the table with Ms. Harvell. He's calling for you."
Camryn smiled and stood up taking a deep breath. All of Lace's finishing hopefully would pay off. She slowly sauntered over toward Cade and what had to be his sister. She was stunning but the way she looked at her was obvious. Don't fuck over my brother. Rolling her eyes instantly. She hated contending with other females especially the family kind.
"Hello Mr. Harvell. I'm Camryn Spencer Mulroney and you must be Vanessa, his twin. Hello how are you both?"
The waiter pulled out her chair and she sat down.
"Let's get down to business considering I didn't come across the country for chit chat." Camryn's voice took a deep breath, her face showed nothing but attitude.
"The Mulroney family is going global with there company. We're looking to expand the company and turn our already successful brands into chains. This means the Skylight Hotel. Our hotel is four-star and would sadly eat the West Lake Regency Hotel. I think your agency is the best bet for a successful transition to West Lake." she sat back waiting to hear his response.
Cade had kept his eyes on her from her walk from the bar all the way to their table, her introduction was on point and she didn't skip a beat towards getting to her point of being in town and he admired that about her. She had gaul he would give her that it would be a cold day in hell before the elite of West Lake let the Regency be pushed out of existence. He waved his had off at the waiter who brought over a menu and a wine list before turning his attention back to his sister, who he could tell was getting ready to leave.
"I think the business talk would bore me to death I will take that as my cue. I'm supposed to meet Brian anyway. Call if you need me, enjoy your stay in town Mrs. Mulroney." Vanessa says, standing from her hair and offering them both a quick glance before leaving the table.
Returning home from her son’s apartment she is furious slamming the door behind her inside the house, noticing that the study door is open. Walking down the hallway she finds her husband inside the office packing his things. She is certain that he has probably received the divorce papers that she drew up a few weeks ago. Hearing the footsteps down the hallway, Alan places his glass down on the desk looking up as Karen looks at him from the doorway.
“The maid said you were out.”
“I went to go see Jake.”
Alan tries not to let the mention of their son bother him but it does and to show it he picks up his glass and takes a very long and very stiff drink from it. Jake is no longer his problem his son has made that perfectly clear from their conversation at the office, in which his son quit. He had made good on his word that no one would hire Jake and put out the calls the same day.
“Good maybe you can talk some sense into him.” Alan replies.
“We need to talk.” Karen says.
He manages to look up from the desk at her, drink in hand and laughs.
“What in the world do you think we could possibly have to talk about? You filed the papers Karen not me, I am simply abiding by your wishes.”
“Don’t. Don’t you dare blame this entire mess on me this is your doing Alan. You and Bridgette having a child behind my back and setting up Vanessa to go down for something that your daughter knew about. Worse, you consulted and worked with Richard to help his daughter get away with murder!” Karen screams back.
The room fills with a silence for a moment, the reality of the situation kicking in.
“Is that really what you think? I knew about what Paige and Hannah had done, I didn’t know that Paige knew anything about the car until she was arrested. When the accident happened, Richard had told me about Jessica and Paige burying the body. He simply stated that if Vanessa went down for drunk driving no one would know about the body. I made a choice.” Alan says quietly.
Karen is uncertain whether or not to believe him or his story about the car accident that killed their daughter. She doesn’t have the energy to fight with him over it anymore, nor does she care to as she takes a seat on the couch across from him. Knowing if she asks for his help they will continue with their marriage.
“I need you to get Jessica Robbins out of town again.” she says quietly.
“You hate me Karen you’ve made that clear. Why would I help you?” Alan says looking back at his wife.
Karen places her hands on her lap before speaking, “Because she is pregnant again. You took care of the problem before when we had this problem, you can do it again.”
Alan looks at her shocked.
“That was years ago Karen she was a minor, she is an adult now.”
“I don’t care how much it costs, or what she wants from you, she is trash always has been and always will be. I knew something like this would happen when Hannah died and you started to encourage him with her again. I want our son to be happy, I can convince him to come back to work. I just want her and her child out of our lives.” she says coldly.
Alan considers her question for a moment, picking up his glass and drowning the liquid.
“I’ll tell you what you agree not to go through with this divorce and I’ll do it.” he says.
He needs her by his side throughout Paige’s trial to keep up a good image and to keep investors at the company. He needs to look good for the press and showing that his marriage is not in shambles will do the trick. Like her he doesn’t want his son to have a child with Jessica Robbins, he never has. Which, is why years ago he and Richard agreed to send Jessica away to California to have the baby and give it up for adoption. Instead they got lucky in his mind when she miscarried. His eyes meet Karen’s as she simply nods her head to his request.
Cade was glad when his twin didn't run her mouth off or worse insult the woman in front of him, he could tell that his sister had taken an instant disliking to her and he waved at her, as she left the table before speaking, "She can be a bit testy at times, my apologies. I take it fro the numerous faxes that I have received that you are wanting to purchase land then? Or are you interested in something already in existence?"
"Exactly downtown a few blocks from here is the shopping district. There is this huge building that were interested in buying. It's a old building I think it's perfect. Tell them any price." she finally got to look at Cade damn.
Maxwell had made it damn clear if she cheated she would get nothing. But he reminded her of someone. She just couldn't put her finger on it.
"So tell me about West Lake. I need to know considering this is where the hotel is going to be located. This is a new tourist spot consider all the attention your sister has gotten. So sad what happened to her by the way." Camryn says, her voice was snotty showing the same reserve Vanessa had.
Cade listened to her proposition on the old Alexander warehouse down by the mall, he knew Austin he could talk to his friend about a price on the property and then they could work on a price. He noticed her looking at him and bent over the table, tracing his finger on her forearm, such a same that a creature like her was otherwise entangled. She would do to get his mind off of his troubles with Kate, he quickly dismissed the thought as it had come, a silly fantasy. He picked up his bourbon before taking a long sip of it, placing it back on the table. Turning to the waiter to order a glass of champagne.
"West Lake is full of deeply lined rich pockets of New York's finest, it's an easy escape for those with a trust fund to escape to and then settle down if they would like. The publishing industry has been good to it, with both Alexander Enterprises and Donovan Industries here. The press like to come back every so often and dig up a sotry, my sister just happens to be the attraction they pick every few years. I can talk to the owner of the building you are interested in, we're good friends I don't see it as a problem that he wouldn't want the property off of his hands." Cade offered, picking up the menu and then looking back at her as the waiter returned to poor the champagne.
"And where do you hail from then?"
West Lake sounded sort of like Aztec Springs. It wasn't Sin City playground more like where burnt out showgirls go to snag a rich sugar daddy. Sin City had no playground hell Las Vegas was the playground. Twirling her hair in fingers Camryn smiled thinking of home before speaking, "Chicago is my hometown but I currently call Aztec Springs my home. Aztec Springs is boring but I make due."
She didn't mention she married her lovers father. Or the fact she was more than twenty years her husband senior. Now that business was done and clearly Cade was attracted who wouldn't be? It was time for pleasure. She was only married in name not body. Months of sexual frustration ate at her. She wanted to release tension. Brian was jealous of her relationship with Maxwell but he was more focused on Rowan than ever. All she wanted was a night of meaningless sex.
"What about you? Anything fun to do in West Lake." She asked, seductively sipped the champagne, then she twisted the ring off her her finger dropping it into his glass and smiled. "I'm bored Mr. Harvell show me the town. I mean considering I have a entire night in West Lake before I meet my husband in New York."
Digging her finger into the glass she pulled out the ring seductively licking it dry. Then she sucked her finger. "Shall we leave?"
It would hardly be out of character for him to spend the night with her, even if she was married, he may have rejected if she would have came a few weeks earlier. That wasn't the case though, he and Kate had ended things, the baby being the last straw for him. Looking over at her, as Camryn mentioned having a good night in West Lake, a night would do him some good get his mind off things. She also seemed more than willing to comply to his needs just as much as he was thinking about having her she was thinking about him in that way, telling him that her marriage left more than would meets the human eye. He stood from his chair, looking around the quietness of the bar and then leaned down to her ear, his finger tracing the collarbone.
"I'm sure that I can find something to occupy your time with for an evening. Perhaps a room here?' Cade whispered, pausing for a moment to admire the view of her breasts feeling his desire grow. 'Perhaps something a bit more secluded, your choice of course."
"Back when I was poor I wouldn't have minded a room here,' she confessed looking at him, 'How tacky. I mean I don't want everyone in either of our business understood?"
Camryn was practically telling him she didn't need West Lake knowing they slept together. Her voice barely above a whisper. Tilting her head back her lips touched his chin.
Ryan had felt the heat of the situation for the last few weeks, Jake was starting to ask questions about Jessica's appointments, appointments that they had so far been able to fake. The plan however was going downhill faster than ever, the baby had done nothing but make Jake put more space between himself and Jessica. They were still looking for the gun to collaborate Paige's confession. Paige was starting to piece things together from behind bars. Soon she would figure out that he had tampered with the car and knew all along that he knew his father was dead. That or Richard would finally cast his daughter to the wolves and confess that Jessica had given him, his number to call and get rid of Hannah years ago. Seeing the face he was looking for inside the hotel Ryan approached the table before taking a seat, taking a look around and noticing that it was pretty dead inside, which was better for him, less witnesses.
"Anthony, I was surprised when you accepted my call. I take it that you found something to help me out with the problem that I called you about?" Ryan asks, taking a seat across from his one time employer.
He found that damn briefcase for him which turned out the be a fake. Declan Armitage had it the real one and was now using it to blackmail him. That didn't matter now he was here to help Ryan and ask for a price.
"I did find a baby but there is a price to it. I have to have fifty-thousand dollars to deliver this child. That's less then what they are going on the black market." Anthony replies, looking at Ryan.
He notices that busybody from Aztec Springs, his daugter Camryn is there. What a coincidence he thought wondering if she spotted him.
Anthony looked at Ryan, as he cracked his knuckles. "Did I thank-you for the briefcase?"
Ryan knew better than to mess around with Anthony, he would tell Jessica that the money wasn't negotiable if she wanted the baby she would need to cough up the money. He didn't know the price of a child on the market, but he did have to wonder why Anthony was offering it to him at less than market value. When he mentioned the briefcase Ryan shook his head no, he had never been thanked for the deed. It was something that he just did, maybe out of fear for the man sitting in front of him maybe out of spite, but it was a job that he did.
"No, you didn't." Ryan says, picking up the glass of water on the table to take a quick drink.
He didn't like meeting in public, he was supposed to still be invisible around town, unless Jessica needed him not to be. If he exposed himself to early people would ask questions about his motives, plus he needed to lay low and play a victim a bit longer. Make Brian trust him fully to help him out with getting a doctor for Jessica to start helping with the forging of medical records. Something he was discovering was not an easy task, Brian was far more interested in chasing Vanessa Harvell's skirt again.
"You'll get your money. I'll talk to my partner about the price. I am a bit curious why you are going to offer me the price below market value." Ryan says.
"My accounts have been frozen by the FBI and I'm soon to be on the run. I'm losing everything I've built." He said looking at a young man that he predicted would go far. Ryan would have been apart of his future dynasty. It was sad he was starting to lose everything he built.
Anthony voice flashed back to Natalie Prescott vowing to figure out who killed Adam Duncan. His entire body shivered in fear. All of his inside rage for revenge started bubbling out. "Well, the woman who is the mother of the child is completely unfit. I can't stand to see a child being destroyed. So giving her to your client who I hope will be a better mother to this child." Anthony knew this was revenge served in the best way.
If he wasn't in the middle of taking another sip of water from the glass he would have laughed and it took him everything he had to not laugh, Jessica as a good mother in his dreams. Jessica wanted the baby to replace the hurt that the Donovan's had placed on her over the years, there was nothing more to it, she wanted her revenge, of course she could come to love the baby but he wasn't counting on it. Looking around the room, to take the napkin off the table and a pen out of his pocket before sliding both over to Anthony. Glancing upwards as Cade Harvell, left the bar with a stunning young woman he could have swore that the girl stopped but brushed the thought away.
"I would say that I am sorry about your funds, but that would be dishonest of me. I can tell you that the child will serve a good purpose, the mother is very excited. If you will put down the account number I can wire you the money within the next twenty-four hours." Ryan states, wanting to have the account number and then get out of sight.
Anthony slid him his offshore bank account numbers. When he saw Camryn Mulroney staring at him his heart dropped. If she opened her mouth he could lose everything. She wasn't stupid though. The rumors about him were circulating and he was ready to rip her apart if he had too. His mind started to think of ways to strip Natalie away from her baby. Killing her and clearing his name would be perfection. Somehow he'd have to get his son off and keep him with a clear name. He wasn't ready to lose Jennifer but she had be filing for divorce now. Nothing would prevent him from getting this money and getting out of the country. He'd figure out the rest later.
"So in a few months I'll be handing over this baby. I'll be calling you soon,' Anthony got up extending his hand, 'I have to go but we'll be talking soon."
Ryan shook his hand, before watching tthe other man walk away still unsure if he could trust him, though at this point he was running out of options. Bank number in hand, now all he had to do was find a doctor to falsify the documents, reminding himself that Brian kept a datebook full of his contacts. Pulling out his cell phone, as he took out his wallet throwing down enough to cover the tab at their table.
"It is set, we have a baby. Do not screw this up Jess, we just need the money to front it. I don't care how you get it out of him, it's fifty-thousand. If you can't get it from dear old Jake, do go hit up daddy dearest." he said, hanging up the phone shortly after.
Brian had returned home with his mother, opening the front door to the house their evening has gone fairly good. He holds the door open for her taking her coat before making his way into the study that he has set up at the house. Flipping on the light to find his brother filling through his desk.
“Christ, Ryan what in the hell?” Brian asks, looking at his brother from the doorway.
Everything is set in Ryan’s mind with Anthony Stallworth, he and Jessica will be getting the baby as soon, as they get the money. Now the only thing they are missing is a doctor willing to go through with forging papers and falsifying a few documents. Leading him to breaking into his brother’s home to go through his contacts and now being caught red handed.
“I need the contact number of that doctor in Virginia that you know, that you contacted about some of the evidence for the book.” Ryan offers.
Not wanting to alarm their mother Brian looks at him, as if he has lost his mind.
“You mean my DNA expert?”
Ryan doesn’t bother with answering his question, as he begins to pile through the contact list, stopping when Brian slams his hand over the book and snatching it from him. Ryan instead glares back up at his brother, eyes full of rage he needs that number in order for everything to work. If he doesn’t he and Jessica will have no leg to stand on and he would have thought that Brian would know more than anything how important it was to him.
“Come on Bri.” he pleads, instead having his brother take a few steps away from him.
“I thought this was all over Ryan, we found Dad’s body, let it go. What do you need a damn doctor for anyway?” Brian says.
Ryan pauses for a moment placing his hands on his waist before speaking quietly, “No we found your dad.”
“What are you talking about? Does this have anything to do with your very sick and very twisted relationship with Jessica?” Brian asks, clearly confused.
“Elliot was your father, not mine he may of raised me but that doesn’t make him my father. You know what they all did to mom, when she was pregnant with me. They have to pay.” Ryan clarifies.
Brian for the first time in the last few weeks looks at his brother, realizing how crazy he looks, how deranged. Taking a step backwards, as their mother comes to glance at them in the doorway.
“You should leave Ryan.”
“Brian...,” Mary begins only to be cut off when Ryan speaks.
“That’s right I forgot taking up for your little whore and her family and friends. Turing your back on your own family should be a second custom to you.”
Brian doesn’t know what comes over him as the day planner falls to the floor and he lunges forward, his fist colliding with Ryan’s face. The strike throws Ryan off guard for a moment, before he reacts tackling his brother to the ground and throwing a fist into Brian’s face. The two scuffle back and forth for a bit, before backing off each other when Mary’s voice interrupts them.
“Stop it! Both of you!” Mary screams.
Ryan doesn’t even bother with an answer to her, as he wipes the blood from his nose, leaving the room feeling defeated. Brian leans back against the chair in the room his chest heaving as he watches his brother leave. Mary stands there for a moment before leaving for the kitchen, returning with some ice in a towel for her youngest son’s face. She doesn’t say anything to her son, knowing well not to fuel an already lit flame on the situation.
Ryan's nose is swollen as he sits in the back of the courtroom ball cap drawn over his head for cover, as he looks around the crowded courtroom. He doesn’t even know why he came other than to get a good glance at Paige from the back of the room, he can see Jessica with Jacob out of the corner of his eye and his blood boils. He is still not even sure why he is so upset about it, it is all part of the plan, part of getting him what is his. When the judge calls order to the courtroom and Callie Morris with another attorney go to bat for bail for Paige his focus settles back on Paige sitting with them.
Austin is sitting a row behind his sister with Shane, hand on her shoulder and Liz by his side, grateful that Callie changed her mind and got a lawyer for his sister. He is still upset that Kate is in the hospital and the news of Shane's condition has already hit home to him. He wants his sister to be happy and glancing back a few rows he sees the entire Donovan family in a row on the back, minus Tyler who is directly behind Callie. He is still in semi shock about he, Jake and Tyler being half siblings, it is still weird and still awkward for him.
“Your honor my client has been in jail for well over four months with no set court date for a bail hearing, she is from two upstanding families in this community. She has her own personal business and she is not going to be a flight risk to this case.” the male lawyer states.
The judge an older man in his sixties is going over the paperwork, as Simon Hoffman rises from his seat to say his piece from the DA’s office.
“At this time your honor the state is going to agree to the release of Ms. Alexander providing that she be on a home monitoring system in order to ensure she stays where she is supposed to for the duration of the trial.”
Leaning forward in his chair Austin whispers to Callie, “Where did that come from?”
Callie writes down a few notes on her legal pad before turning back to look at him whispering, “He agreed due to wanting to nail Richard more than Paige, plus with Shane’s condition he saw a bit of leeway.”
Austin leans back in the pew as Liz grips his hand, the court grows silent for a moment as the judge makes his ruling.
“Seeing how the death of both Elliot Davison and Hannah Donovan effected this community and the offices that took part in both investigations. This decision doesn’t come lightly, I am going to agree with the defense and the request of the state to release Ms. Alexander back into the custody of her parents, provided that she wear an ankle monitoring system that is approved by this court to monitor her activity. She will be confined to her parents home, unless other activity is approved through this court. Now, I would like to move forward with setting a court date for trial.”
While the details of the trial are going back and forth, Paige looks back at her brother and Shane, spotting Ryan in the back. Her hands begin to shake, Austin and Shane both notice the change and are alarmed.
“Paige, what is wrong?” Austin says, quietly.
“He’s here,” she replies weakly, as both Austin and Shane scan the crowd.
“Where?” Austin asks, the judge swings the gavel down and Paige points to the corner as the crowd begins to leave the courtroom.
By the time he and Shane reach the back through the crowd they are met with a baseball cap lying on the floor and Tyler and Jacob meeting them.
“What’s going on?” Jake asks, looking at Austin and Shane.
“Ryan was here.” Shane manages to get out, as Austin wrings the ball cap in his hands.
Tyler is already puling out his cellphone to call in the encounter to the station.
The limo ride over to the apartments had been agony for him, he hadn't met someone like her in years, not since Hannah. Hannah had never been one to not push the limits or be adventurous. To him it was hardly starting to matter if she was married or not, he wanted her and he wasn't sure why. By the time the car stopped and he helped her out he was certain that it came down to wanting to feel better and to put the horror that was his relationship with Kate behind him.
Placing a hand on her lower back, as he led her up the stairs and to his door opening it for her to step inside, closing the door quietly behind him. As soon as the door was shut he moved towards her again, cupping her face in his hands and placing his lips back against hers. She tasted intoxicating and wonderful, his hands ran through her hair, eventually making their way down to her waist to pull her against him. Breaking his lips from hers he lowered his head to her earlobe, tracing his lips along her collar bone before speaking.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
Her body shivered as his hands touched her. Every kiss, touch, and breath was tantalizing. She felt in bliss and couldn't believe she was here. Brian had been trying to seduce her so she could leave the compound. She'd give Maxwell a heart attack and all of her sexuality was at it's peak. So if she didn't release she's explode. Cade just so happened to be here. She wrapped her arms around him taking in that scent. A scent of a man. Camryn had never been afraid to show she wanted it.
"I'm a big girl, I know what I want."
Grabbing his belt buckle she unfastened the belt and got instantly more turned on. She leaned in and kissed him again and bit his bottom lip. She stepped back and walked to I-Pod deck. Once the music was pumping through the speakers. Camryn started to sway her hips to the beat. Raising her arms she slowly unzipped her dress. Revealing her smooth skin. Camryn slinks back over to Cade pressing her body against him.
"Now are you going to question what I want? Or are you going to satisfy my every desire tonight."
Leaning in she gave him another kiss. Then started to unbutton his shirt.
He watched her carefully, as she had taken control of the situation, showing him two things she had a bit of a wild streak and most certainly did not love her husband. He could feel himself getting aroused watching her strip off her dress and sway her hips as she walked back over to him. Challenging him, as she pressed her body against him asking him to please her and to quit questioning her. He obliged by helping her make his shirt flutter to the ground before lifting her up in his arms and wrapping those long legs around his waist. Hastily undoing his pants and dropping them and his boxers to the floor.
His lips continued to tease her own, as he laid her down on his bed, moving his lips down her neck and to her collarbone. Breaking away from her from a moment, as his hands grazed her inner thigh, before pressing a finger inside of her heat through her panties and stoking her slowly, watching her eyes. His mouth continued over her chest, before he found one of her breasts still incased in the lace of her bra, slipping his tongue inside to curl around one of her nipples and suckling, eventually turning his attention to her other breast. Deciding that he had enough of the constraints of her bra, using his free hand to open the clasp and remove it, while his other hand still encased in her wetness added a second finger.
A moan flew out of her mouth. It was unexpected when her released her breasts. Cade was starting to drive her crazy just with his fingers. Camryn let him be the man. She saw just like her he loved control but he was getting her too hot. She didn't want to explode just yet. She took his fingers out of her and smiled leaning forward. Taking his fingers and licking them.
"Slow down," she whispered.
"I want to enjoy every moment of this." Camryn said as she slowly pulled herself from underneath him.
This time she was straddling him. She kissed his neck slowly letting her tongue slide to his nipples sucking on them. As her hand wrapped around his penis. It was thick and long which she loved. Camryn knew tonight they'd explore everything. She started to stroked him as her head dipped lower to his belly button. Camryn smiled as looked at Cade and she slowly blew kisses around his penis. Then she started to kiss it before she took him into her mouth. Sucking him off to the rhythm she felt herself starting to get wetter. She never experienced sex like this. Maybe it was the fact that it had been awhile but she was ready to show off in other areas.
He was pleased by her reaction when she had taken out his fingers and sucked them dry and he felt himself get more aroused, he hadn't expected her to pin him back on the bed. Obliging when she inched her way down his skin and her hand wrapped around him letting out a moan into her ear. His hands digging into her thighs to encourage her movements, as his mouth moved over her breasts. Suckling and teasing them and groaning again when they became out of reach. When he felt her mouth close around him, he closed his eyes.
"Fuck." he whispered.
He hadn't had sex like this in years, the rawness of it, the passion something that he knew was lacking over the last few years. His hips moved with her mouth and he could feel himself about ready to burst holding off when he remembered that she had wanted to take things slow. In order to stop that from happening he pulled her off of him slowly, fighting to steady his breath, gently flipping her back over. Taking off her panties and tossing them on the ground, once she was displayed before him, his mouth dipped to take in her wetness, his tongue moving over her slowly, wanting to taste all of her. When he was certain that she was about to burst he rolled her onto her stomach, before pushing inside of her slowly and groaning, wondering if anyone had ever had her the way he was having her.
Her entire body was going wild. Camryn couldn't believe it she hadn't had sex like this since Brian and she reunited. It was almost primal the way they both were giving into the passion. When she felt him enter she started to shake all over. Her body almost felt like it was going wild. She started to thrust her pelvis back onto him.
"Yes!" she cried out.
She felt his grip onto her body as he started to dig deeper inside of her. Camryn couldn't breath she knew she was on the verge of releasing every ounce of stress in her body. When she started to shiver all over.
"Cade" she cried out, as she released a powerful climax all over the sheets in his bed.
His hands moved over her as he thrust inside of her, wanting to make sure that he was pleasing her in every way possible, clamping over her breasts. Sliding down her legs, drawing around her clit and back up, he swept her hair off of her neck and he suckled his lips there. Traveling down her back, he heard her scream yes and couldn't help the smirk that came out, his hands moving to cradle her own, as he thrust slower and deeper. His lips grazing over her earlobe and her neck, his breath coming out in pants. He felt her starting to tighten around him and let his pace slow to make sure to drive her over the edge properly groaning as he felt himself begin to shake and release inside of of her.
"God Camryn," he whispered into her ear, as their bodies shook through the climax.
His body was thick with sweat as he pulled himself from her and then traced his fingers up her body to capture her lips with his own pulling back, "Now do tell does your dear husband do you like that?"
"Funny, you said that. I'm not in the least bit interested in sleeping with Maxwell. Were business partners. So if we ever want to do this again. Matter fact if you're up to let's go for round two, three, or even four." Camryn smiled rolling on top of Cade.
Hours later he can hear his phone ringing and reaching over he looks at the caller id to see Kate's number coming up, tossing the phone back down as his eyes cast a glance at the picture of Hannah by his bedside. Hands on Camryn's hips he looked up at her, to glance away to see Hannah staring at him in shock from the doorway.
